Program Detail
Underdog Innovations
Supporting Entrepreneurs in Marginalised Communities
Grassroots Innovation in Action
Underdog Innovations is a grassroots innovation programme supporting entrepreneurs in informal settlements like Korogocho, Huruma, and Dandora. Designed to promote entrepreneurship in informal settlements, the initiative helps aspiring business leaders build inclusive and impactful social ventures.
This initiative bridges the gap between informal entrepreneurship and scalable social business, unlocking the potential of communities often left behind. We believe that the most innovative solutions often come from those who face the greatest challenges.
Through targeted support and community-centered approaches, we help transform local challenges into business opportunities that create lasting positive change.
Our initiative addresses climate change, inequality, and youth unemployment through sustainable social business and grassroots leadership, creating lasting change in communities across Africa.
The programme creates a platform for young changemakers to develop green entrepreneurship ideas, design inclusive business models, and lead community transformation through the 3Zero framework.
