Muthoni’s journey weaves together academia, human development work and social entrepreneurship. She is passionate about helping people realize their potential and creating meaningful social impact.

Her work has taken her to England, Kenya, Somalia and Sudan, giving her a rich mix of experiences in development practice. Some of her most rewarding moments have come from managing donor-funded projects and teaching or training in both university settings and community grassroots spaces. She currently coordinates a social innovation and entrepreneurship incubator at Tangaza University and enjoys exploring through research topics such as social transformation, social learning, and entrepreneurial competencies.

Muthoni is also the founder of Kinsmann Trust, a non-profit organization through which she has led creative programs in juvenile correctional facilities and supported young people in building essential life skills. She has served on the board of MEDAIR, an international humanitarian NGO.

Outside of work, Muthoni is a dedicated apiarist and loves getting involved in community-based value addition and cottage industry projects. She brings curiosity, heart, and a hands-on spirit to everything she does.
